birthday cakes

This is a simple cake with sugar roses.

Soccer ball cake was quite interesting to do , while seeing, it seems quite easy to do it, but had bit problem with the patterns. I made patterns of hexagons and pentagons and tried this for first time. Was quite happy with it.

Thanks sowmya and vrinda.
Vrinda i did not have ball shaped pan, inn pite i have a round shaped(like bowl) pan, managed do the cake in it and cut the patterns to the hexagon and pentagon.

The soccer ball cake ....marvelous. First on seeing it I thought it to a easy one. But on imagining the work, I understand ur dedication to achieve the various patterns all over and to get the perfect shape.
Soccer ball is a brilliant version of decoration. Good job done dear.
